Christmas Eve at Journey

If you’re new to church or visiting for the first time, Christmas Eve is a beautiful, low-pressure way to experience Journey. Our services are around 75 minutes, and easy to follow even if church is new to you.

What should I wear?

Come as you are — you’ll see everything from jeans and sweaters to full Christmas outfits.

When should I arrive?

Arrive about 15 minutes early to find parking, get settled, and enjoy the lobby experience.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available onsite and at the LRT station next door. Volunteers will guide you.

Accessibility & support

We have accessible parking at the front of the building and can accommodate wheelchairs and strollers — just let a host know if you need help. A nursing mothers room is available for a quiet space to feed your baby while still enjoying the service. Translation is also available in multiple languages through an app; bring your own headphones and a host can help you get set up.

Deeper: Christmas Story in Full Colour

Come join us as we take the black and white sketch of the “Christmas Story” in our minds and fill it in with some real-life colour!

Journey Kids Christmas Play

December 14 · 9:00 & 11:00 AM

Join Journey Kids as they put on one of our favourite services of the year! We will be joined by Santa in the Lobby, so come ready for a photo with your littles!

Blue Christmas

December 21 · 6:00 PM

A gentle, reflective service for those walking through grief, loss, or a difficult season.

Christmas Eve Services

December 24 · 2:00 · 4:00 · 6:00 PM

Join us Christmas Eve for worship, carols, and the Christmas message of hope. The 4 & 6 PM services will be livestreamed.

Family Sunday

December 28 · 10:00 AM (one service)

The last Sunday of the year where we come together for one service. Journey Kids will be having a pajama party in Kids Church — so come dressed for the occasion.

Kids at Christmas

Journey Kids Christmas (December 14): This Sunday is for the littles! Join us for Journey Kids very own Christmas production, followed by pictures with Santa!

Christmas Eve: There is no separate kids program. Children remain with their families during the service. Activities will be available, and we’d love for them to engage in the service with us.

Family Sunday (December 28): It’s the last Sunday of the year where we come together for one service. Kids programs are still running — kids will be having a pajama party in Kids Church.
